Festivals and other events of Suvereto - Tuscany
The wealth of historical and cultural traditions belonging to this ancient village come to life in fascinating events held all year round. The Suvereto Festival is held in the first ten days of December and features gastronomic, artistic, and folklore events.
Legendary wild boar dishes cooked to recipes handed down through time can be sampled together with exhibitions, meetings, historical re-enactments such as the signing of the Charta Libertatis, a parade in 13th century costume, and an archery tournament.
Suvereto Summer charms with concerts, plays, and fests that take place in the magical setting of the cloisters, paved streets and splendid buildings of the historic center. One of the most looked forward to events, "Serate medievali", is held in July.
